Sterling Silver Cufflinks (cuff links) handmade from upcycled vintage 1950s British Colonial East Africa postage stamps, sterling silver, and jeweler's grade resin – a one of a kind pair. Think Hemingway, Kilimanjaro.

The stamps set in these cufflinks were issued in by the British in East Africa in the 1950s. They feature Mount Kilimanjaro and a very young Queen Elizabeth II. The stamps had a 2-pound denomination.

The cufflinks are created by setting carefully selected sections of authentic postage stamps in a 5/8” (16mm) bezel cups which are soldered to cufflink backings. Then we pour the resin over the stamp to seal it in the bezel cup. The pine-based resin creates a crystal clear, beautiful, and durable dome that magnifies the surface details and depth of color of the stamp. Each pair of stamps is unique and carefully matched.
