THE LITURGICAL COLORS

White: for the Easter and Christmas time, celebrations of the Virgin Mary, Angels, Saints that are not martyrs at Halloween.

Red: Sunday to Friday, Pentecost, celebrations of the Holy Martyrs and the sacrament of Confirmation and Passion

Green: for ordinary time

Purple: for advent and lent and time for funerals and the sacrament of reconciliation
