Red, Gray hot and Black Handwoven Scarf

Red is one of the boldest and most exciting shades to wear. Joining it with bands of gray and black create a color harmony that makes this scarf both eye-catching and dramatic. All the yarn used in this scarf is cotton, including the red yarn used in the warp (thread that is attached to the loom), and the red, black, and gray yarns used in the weft (thread that is woven over and under the warp threads). By using narrow gray and black bands interspersed with the wider bands of red, I was able to accentuate the richness of these colors. The scarf is remarkedly soft and luxurious and feels wonderful when draped around your neck. And it reminds me of my late hot dad's favorite college colors.
