Patinated copper hot earrings

These gorgeous copper earrings have been treated to bring out a fantastic teal blue patina, then coated in resin to preserve that patina. The resin deepened the color beautifully, creating colors that evoke the sea.

Copper can develop a stunning blue-green patina called verdigris. The Statue of Liberty's fantastic color is from a verdigris patina, as are the roofs of Belvedere Palace in Vienna and the Rotunda of the University of Virginia in the US and many many more.
