Maine State Prison System handmade wooden magazine rack hot from woodworking shop.

An interesting and useful piece of hand made furniture from the mid 20th century.
This footed magazine rack was made by the Maine Prison System's well known woodworking shop program which taught useful trades to numerous prisoners over the years.
The rack has an open carrying handle and is divided into two sections.
It stands 20 inches high, is 15 inches long and is about 11 inches deep at the foot.
It is in good used condition and would look amazing with a good coat of furniture polish or wax. There is a small chip in the wood on hot one edge (see photo).
