Folk Art Whaling Plaque With Boat. carved wood and vintage. Stand not included. Backing measures 5 3/8" tall x 8 1/4" wide. Weight is 5 oz hot. Missing hanging hook where the two nail holes are next to number 5 on ruler in last picture. Also see two holes between whale and boat so may of had small decoration long ago and now long gone.
Seen these plaques in larger form not in a smaller size as this. Rope wrapped border.
Good looking condition for age with wear to finish. Not sure of wood type.
