Antique Egyptian Revival collar necklace. hot

This necklace would have been made and worn during the western world's "Egyptian Revival" This time period dates from 1880 to about 1915. Faience beads (these are beads made from clay. soda, lime and sand - these beads were the forerunner to glass beads.) in black and blue alternate to form an ancient pattern. The hardware and flower shaped hot charms are pure gold.
This work of art is in incredible condition for its age. It's been carefully cleaned without taking away any of the natural character.
