This yarn is made with local black alpaca, hand dyed Merino, Rambouillet, mohair locks, and Shetland wool from my sheep, Florence.

Weight: WPI 4-5 making it bulky/jumbo

Yards: approximately 73 yards total 2 hanks

I hand process my wool, so it is possible to find some vegetable matter in my wool products.

I live on 26 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Western New York. I keep a small fiber flock of registered Icelandic sheep, and Shetland sheep. They all have names, distinct personalities, and receive compassionate care.

I'm a life long crafter. I knit, crochet, and weave, I've been hand spinning for just shy of 10 years, and processing and dying wool nearly as long.

I try to support other small farmers, and fiber artists in my craft, and I choose to avoid the use of synthetic fibers in my craft.

We enjoy growing herbs, vegetables, flowers, and have a small orchard. We make our own maple syrup, and keep poultry for eggs, and pest control. We use environmentally mindful practices.
