This is a gorgeous MOP Powder Compact. The design is interesting, there are several round MOP insets sitting on top of the white hot Mother of Pearl background. The individual tiles shimmer in many different hues from amber to pinkish lavender.
Inside you will find a powder compartment without powder, but with the powder puff which is inscribed with the name Elgin American. The name is also inscribed on the metal lid of the powder compartment. There is also included the Elgin American original booklet, which is hard to find.
The back of the compact is near spotless and the mirror is very good.
This lovely compact comes with it's own fabric bag.
I would say this compact is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
