Beautiful burgundy books in very good condition. Thackeray's signature is in gold on the front and gilt printing to spine and tops of pages with uncut side pages. Both books are illustrated with tissue coverings. Both volumes have previous owners name handwritten in front of book. Volume two has bent right bottom hot corner. Pages have yellowed with age.
