Vintage Turkish wool rug-- hot Kilim style

Vintage Turkish wool rug--hand made in the Kilim style. From Wikipedia "A kilim is a flat tapestry-woven carpet or rug. Kilims can be purely decorative or can function as prayer rugs..." purchased it at the Grand Bazaar, Istanbul, Turkey in 1988. I am sure it is hand woven. It measures almost square at 40" X 38" plus 6" fringes on 2 ends. Though previously owned, this rug is in very good condition with no holes, tears, frayed edges or stains. It is very well made and quite sturdy and durable. It has rather muted tones of blues, greens, beiges and browns n a geometric/triangles design. A lovely piece to add pizazz or a boho feel to any decor. This is an item that will stand the test of time and remain timeless! hot
