Antique French Art Deco Inkwell - Elephant mother with Calves on Viened Marbel hot Base

The most beautiful original French Art Deco Inkwell.
It has a sophisticated Grey marble base with Grey/White veins.
The relief design of a mother elephant and two baby calves is just charming.
The all have trunks upward (possibly for good luck?)
All three elephants are solid metal with a bronze effect look.
The metallic bronze effect inkwell is an iconic Art Deco design.
The hinged lid to the inkwell is in perfect working order.
The ink receptacle inset is old but may be a replacement.
It is in very good antique condition.
Having just a few tiny little nibbles/ grazing to the side edge/ back corners which are hard to see.
There is one small scuff mark on top surface which blends with vein colouring anyway.
It would make an imposing feature to any office desk or look just wonderful as part of any home decor.
Having both age & character - It is a very French Art Deco Chic feature!
