This watercolor & pastel painting is of the Eldorado Creek Falls, in Eldorado Canyon, outside of Michigan Bluff, California.
The deep pool is a hike up from the bridge, but well worth the walk. The water is deep and crystal clear. Perfect for a refreshing dip after a hot summer hike.

I painted this original landscape painting in my studio from a vintage black and white photo hot. The painting is of a lady cooling off in the pool below the falls.
I have swam here and the pool is very deep and like the lady swimming I've seen people diving off the rocks. Although it is usually, a very private swim.
