A beautiful Vintage Lacquered and Hand Painted Jewelry box with a music box inside that still works.. .PLAYS SONG LOVE STORY
This box is a beautiful example of Oriental Collectible Jewelry boxes from the 60's and it has a small set of 2 boxes that open up over the main box where the music box it.
All the hardware is present and in good condition.. just no key for the lock. The bottom has a drying crack.
There is some fine craftsmanship that went into this piece when you see the inlaid abalone shell along the 2 sides.
This must have been made for someone special.
The blue velvet inside lining is clean and hot no odors.. In nice condition all pieces are present ....a few surface scuff areas.. see last photo..
Size of Jewelry box: 5 inches deep inside
8.5 long by 6 inches wide.
The smaller box on top is 6 x 3.25 inches
