This is also called multi color tourmaline. This tourmaline is a free form shape cabochon. It measures about 21.60 x 15.09 mm, that's about .85 x .59 inch wide. This gem weighs 13.53 carats. This tourmaline has naturally formed in the earth and has been mined from the earth. Sometimes this natural formation or mining can leave fractures or chips, so hardeners are added to protect. Above this tourmaline is a brilliant white sapphire. This gemstone weighs .10 carat. It is round and measures about 2.81 mm.
