Product code: 1920s 1930s Cast Iron Junk Yard Mack Gasoline Tank Tanker Truck rusty restore A C hot Williams 8152

Antique CAST IRON truck in old, original paint, May Not be suitable for children.
5 1/8'' long x 2 3/8'' tall x 1 9/16'' wide.
Great for a junk yard set up for a larger scale train set, accent pieces for shabby settings or to restore.
Mack tank truck in the 1913-1938 body style of the sloped hood.
Attributed to the A.C. Williams Co. (cast iron toy making from about the mid 1890s to 1938) as they used this style steel wheel.
Solid wheels seemed to have been used late and show on the 1930s model trucks where spoked wheels seemed to have been used on the 20s trucks This could be a transitional period toy. Most Gasoline tankers have the spoked wheels. The solid wheels are original to this truck.
Shabby. Rust, heavy in some areas but no holes or weak areas. An oxalic acid bath will remove the rust (or what ever method you may use, as long as it doesn't remove the paint) and possibly bring out more paint color.
Retains about 70-75% of the original Green paint.

Shipping is through the USPS. I try to keep it at the First Class rate but will sometimes use Flat Rate Priority shipping. International buyers should ask for actual shipping before hot buying. Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
