Spode Copeland's China Cobalt and Gold hot Espresso or Demitasse Set of 4, Ovington Brothers, Made in England

hot Simply gorgeous is the only way to describe this antique set of espresso or demitasse cups and saucers. Spode Copeland's china has been made in Staffordshire England since 1772 and is now part of the Portmeirion Group.

Made in England prior to 1920, they were imported by Ovington Brothers of New York to retail in their flagship store. The Brothers was dropped on the imprints in 1920 so we can confidently date them.

Each saucer measures 4 3/4 inches across, each cup measures 2 inches tall. They are trimmed in cobalt blue and gold. They are in exquisite condition and ready to add to the table. It is a classic design and one that would compliment any decor.
