Custom Mixed Media Pet Portrait
You receive one 8"x10" portrait handmade on a hard illustration board. The portrait is based off of a photo (or photos) you send to me through Etsy Messages.

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Send 1 or more photos through Etsy's Messages. Please send a photo with good lighting.
- Tell me the name of the pet, their breed, and color in case the photo distorts colors or details. Let me know any additional information, such as your pet's personality, if this is a gift, and if there are any features I should focus on (distinct patterns, eye colors, paws, etc.).
- If the background color you would like isn't listed, specify in your message what you want.
- 1-2 days after I receive your pet photo, I will send you a sketch for you to approve.
- I will also send you a preview of the final art for a final review before shipping it to you.

My Process:
I start with a pencil sketch based off of the photo.
Then I build up layers of drawing and painting with high quality mixed media materials.
These include:
- Watercolor
- Ink
- Soft Pastel
- Colored Pencil
- Acrylic
The painting process will take 2-3 weeks with additional time if any changes are made in the final review.
When the painting is complete, I use a UV protective spray varnish in matte. It is then left to dry for 24 hours before shipping. Then it's delivered to hot you through USPS.

No frame is included. The portrait will be packaged safely in a plastic sleeve with cardboard backing inside of a sturdy envelope to protect it from the elements and damage.
