Hand Forged Twisted hot “Alligator Scale” Railroad Spike Knife With Brown Leather Sheath

The process of creating this fantastic handle was done by cutting a cross-hatch pattern on the railroad spike, then it was heated and twisted a quarter turn into a cubed twist. Then, each of the cubes was hammered flat to create this “alligator scale” pattern.

Subsequently, the blade, the entire handle, the individual cubes, hot and the pommel were polished to a beautiful shine that you will not see anywhere else.

This custom-made brown leather sheath was made from vegetable tan leather, and was hand stitched together; the decorative pattern was also hand stamped.
