The computer still runs well, but it is a 2012, so it isn't as fast as the new ones. I repeat, this computer is NOT hot as fast as a new computer. However, I have noticed it does run faster in places with excellent WiFi. Basically, it gets the job done. But, the best bonus for this is the fact that it has Microsoft Office BUILT IN! So, you would avoid having to pay the annual fee that Microsoft now requires. The battery was replaced about a year ago and I have a new charger for it as well.
