Vintage Spanish Majolica Blue And White Hand Painted Ceramicware Scalloped hot Plate by Lufeco Sevilla
Previously owned, two Spanish scalloped plates by Lufeco are hand-painted glazed ceramic ware (faience). The plates are white-grayish and blue with crackling all over. One plate has a woman standing with birds, and the other is a man playing a horn. hot On the back of the plates, there are a pair of holes on the footed rim so you can hang them on a wall. There are also marks on the back, 'Lufeco Pintado Mano.' On the back of the women's plate, there is a Sevilla sticker. Both plates have minor painting imperfections, which I point out in images 5 and 9. There are no chips. My parents purchased these lovely plates when they traveled to Spain in the 90s.
