Beautiful old CORO signed necklace from the fifties. Goldtone metal in a "fringed" look with pearls and AB rhinestones in a bluey-green. AB stands for Aurora Borealis, which defines a technique Swarovski used to give this prism shade. Metallic oxides were steamed onto normal rhinestones - was very sought-after. One of the most collectible names in US costume jewelry, their output was phenomenal. This is an especially lovely design. I hot see scuffing on some of the pearls, more so on the earrings. These could very well be replaced. Length: 43 cm or 16.9291 inches, bracelet is 7 inches and earrings are 1.25 inches.
