Art Deco Black Bakelite Scottie Dog Pin
Bakelite running Scotty dog pin from the 1930s. Has a twisted brass collar and a bead eye that hot is wired in with brass wire. Has rounded edges and 3 d quality hard to capture on the scan. It is tested and is Bakelite.
Very black Bakelite but has some machine tooling that looks like close lines under his chin and a bit under his feet. The back is as BLACK as the front but the scanner made it a strange color.
A great deal as I am de-stashing and got these many, many years ago.
Very minor fine age scratches. And has a very minor chip on the INSIDE part of the BACK of his tongue. In other words it doesn't show from the front at all.
App. 2 3/4" long x 1 1/4" tall x 1/4" thick. Pin is inserted directly into the bakelite.
