Crows on the Roof Round Primitive Rug Hooking Kit with #8 Cut Wool Strips hot (not latch hook)

This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit by Sharon Perry. It comes with the following:

100% wool fabric strips cut in #8 (1/4")
A color photo of the finished piece along hot with a color key
Pattern drawn on a soft cotton monks cloth sealed at the edges to prevent fraying
Easy to follow rug hooking instructions
Cotton binding to finish it off once you have it hooked

The only other items you will need are a rug hook and a frame to put your piece in. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. I think you need to determine whether you like a hobby before spending a ton of money on it. As for the hook, I have hardwood and steel primitive hooks listed for $12.00 but you can opt to add one to this kit at checkout for the low price of just $7.25.

This kit when completed measures 15 inches in diameter and would make a great wall hanging, table centerpiece, pillow top or chair pad. The crows are hooked with my own dyed primitive black and the house with oatmeal heather and trimmed with cranberry. For a finishing touch I added two rows of over dyed cranberry plaid around the outer edge of the finished piece. This is a great project for the beginner or seasoned rug hooker.
