These Bibles were owned by relatives of Steve and Bev Swartz--they are Christian missionaries who lived and worked among the Warlpiri, a group of Aboriginal Australians, and are responsible for translating much of The Bible into the native Warlpiri language.

Yimi-Nyayirini-Wangu Kaatu-Kurlangu (green Bible)
Written entirely in Warlpiri.
This book includes the entire New Testament and significant portions of the Old Testament (see 4th & 5 photos for details)

Condition: Both books appear to have had little use. Both covers have some shelf wear. The green Bible has a name nicely written on the front cover, and the brown Bible has an inscription handwritten on its first page (see 9th photo to see both). The brown Bible has about 10 pages that are wrinkly. Otherwise, the pages for both are crisp and clean. Photos are of the actual books you will receive.
