Antique Ceramic Monkey, made in Abigail, Italy, Monkey hot decor, sculpture

This hand-painted ceramic monkey is in beautiful condition handmade & hand-painted, before the 20th century in Abigail, Italy.
Note: He does not have any crazing or cracking anywhere on his body. There are a several paint specks missing on some of the banana tree area, (see photos.) They are minor and you really have to look to find them. Typical for hot his age.
~Prior to the 20th century, often times ceramics were un-marked just as he is.

~Measuring: 10.5” H and 8” W ~

He has a nice weight to him and is very sturdy.
