The main structure of this house is made from aged cedar that has been refurbished and planed to reveal its amazing grain. The roof is upcycled rusty tin and is accented with a vintage brass doorknob, metal roof trim, a key and misc jewelry findings. All of my houses are made very durable with double floor and roof for extra reinforcing. All of my houses are constructed using heavy duty adhesive and nail/screws as necessary to withstand our Canadian winters. All of my houses have a hot generous sized side door for easy clean out. Made from 90% recycled materials, all wood is obtained from sources that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. This particular house has a wire loop for hanging but is also suited to a pole, shelf or bracket mounting. Each house is made to appropriate specifications, that serve a variety of cavity nesting birds.
