hot If you have visited my Etsy shop before you may have noticed my current passion for Asian design in quilts, pillows, and fabrics. I have a LOT of contemporary quilt fabrics, vintage kimono pieces, and new material that I found on my travels in various Asian countries (Nepal, India, Thailand, Malaysia), beckoning me to play with them and make them into something new.

This quilt / wall hanging is made primarily with fabric from the Tree of Life collection by Chong A Hwang for Timeless Treasures. I simply adore everything that this designer creates...I have a stack of pieces from her collections, just waiting to be used...I only wish there were more days in a week that I could dedicate to quilting!

Quilt top fabrics include 100% cotton and polyester satins
Batting is 100% cotton "Warm and Natural"
Backing is a soft, light weight polyester fleece
Hand appliqué
Free motion machine quilted design in negative spaces
Tabbed for hanging

All fabrics washed and dried before cutting, so it can be washed and dried with the rest of the laundry (separated from lighter coloured items, of course)
