Antique Wooden Decorated Tongue and hot Groove Box

Very old, one-of-a-kind, wooden box, decorated top and sides are lightly carved. It appears to be maybe a mother and her child on top.
Tongue and groove at all corners. Very old hinges and latch. It is 6” wide by 5.5” front to back and 2.5” deep. Appears to be initials and/or a date on bottom. If it is a date could be Nov 27, 1911, but 9 is not apparent.
Great condition for its age.
Nice addition to any vintage box collection, as a stand alone conversation piece hot or as a trinket box.
