Description: This is a beautiful, sterling silver and mother of pearl, Southwestern ring. The piece is composed of two, oval, convex, bezel-set, closed-back, mother of pearl, cabochon-cut "stones," each of which is accompanied by a silver feather/leaf. The face of the ring gives way to split shoulders which flow into a simple band. The piece is not marked but tests as sterling silver and there is a bit of patina from age that accents the engraved, feather design. Possibly Navajo. Gorgeous, hand-made piece. More details below.
Approximate Measurements: Sze US 5.75. Face of ring measures 1/2 inch x 1 inch or (or around 11.5 mm x 25 mm). Stone is 7mm x 10 mm and has a depth of around 4 mm from the base of the setting to the top of the stone. Band measures about 2 mm wide.
Approximate Weight:4 grams.
Condition: Good good vintage condition with wear in keeping with age and use. Some tarnish on underside of face of ring. Please use the photos as a guide as they form part of the description and the condition of a piece is subjective.
