Super vintage piece designed by Josiah Wedgwood for Neiman-Marcus of New York in the form of this engraving-decorated plate depicting San Antonio which is one of the Six Views of hot Old Texas Collector series, believed to have been issued during the 1950s.
Stamped on the back with the Wedgwood Etruria & Barlaston backstamp and a legend outlining the series and explaining the decoration around the border of 'the flags of the six sovereign powers in Texas History'.
There is also an impressed mark on the underside which reads 'WEDGWOOD' along with the number '5 x 57'
Also with a circular stamp reading 'ENGRAVED BY THE WEDGWOOD STUDIOS'.
Measuring approx 10 and three quarter inches in diameter and standing approx 1" deep.
The overall condition is very good with no chips or cracks.
