hot This is a gorgeous piece of pottery from Smith Pottery in Seagrove, NC. They've been making pottery pieces since 1995. I *think* the date on this piece says '01, but that could also be a '9_ or a stylized NC... it's really hard for me to tell with the textured base.
The piece is an ombre shades of brown with darker speckles. The dragonfly itself is teal. It is roughly square with a slight concave shape. It displays beautifully on a plate stand, but also would work well as a table centerpiece, perhaps with fruit or something else.
It is 10.25" x 10". It has absolutely no evidence of damage. It's beautiful.
