Vintage Addicted Co. is pleased to offer this rare and amazing Antique Hand Blown Green Glass Jug / Pitcher. This piece is in remarkable shape for its age. The thick ribbed glass exterior and traditional jug shaped design showcases the 100s ( if not thousands) of air bubbles deep within the glass. Some of these bubbles are quite large. Please use your device's Zoom feature to inspect. The bubbles are a result of the turn of the century primitive glass making process - giving this piece tons of visual interest. There is also a glass indentation on the base as a result of the equipment used to produce the hand blown glassware. The jug is solid, sturdy and has weight (approximate weight = over 3 1/2 pounds) . This pitcher could have many uses. Originally used for cold beverages - the jug can continue to be used for serving ice water, lemonade, ice tea, Margaritas or my favorite - homemade Sangria. The jug could serve as a vase for a large bouquet of flowers - making a stunning centerpiece. Whether using it for a practical use or showcasing it as a stand - alone display item, this collector piece is an exceptional and rare find.
