Hand Blown Art Glass Swan Dish & Basket Pair Murano Italy Pink Blown Glass Handle Sugar-Coated Candy hot Trinket Vintage 2 Piece SET

This is a pair of lovely, antique (exact age unknown), blown-glass, art-glass, swan dish & handled basket probably made in Murano Italy. The swan measures 5.25 inches wide x 6 inches long x 5.75 inches in height so it is NOT a salt cellar. hot It is hand blown of clear and pink glass with applied detailing. It has a round, raised, footed base; a diamond, textured bowl along with a glass, cane applied neck/head, wings and tail. It also has a polished, smooth pontil on the bottom. The small, blown, glass basket measures 3 inches wide x 5.5 inches long x 4.75 inches tall. This also has a diamond, pattern, impressed bowl with a raised, footed base along with a blue, cane handle and green, blown, glass, leaf decoration. They both have a glass, sugar-coated finish on the underside which is rare to find. I believe these 2 pieces are Venetian and made in the Murano area of Italy. They both are in very, good condition with no chips or cracks. These make a nice set and would be a nice addition to anyone's collection. They are being sold as a set only.
